Campus Closure and Transition to Online Learning

To facilitate social distancing for the health and well-being of our community and in keeping with the campus closure order from Governor DeSantis’s office, Cornerstone Learning Community has transitioned to online/remote learning for our students and a work-at-home structure for our teachers and staff.

Our physical campus is currently scheduled to be closed at least through April 30, 2020. Please keep in mind with the ongoing and dynamic nature of the situation we’re navigating, this date is likely to change as new developments unfold and additional information becomes available over the coming weeks. We will continue to monitor information as it becomes available from health advisors over the coming weeks and will work to make decisions in the best interest of our community as things progress.

The week of March 23-27, 2020 is an extended Spring Break for students. This time is being used to transition teachers and staff to a work-at-home structure and to allow teachers time to plan for online learning and prepare resources for families to use at home.

Online learning for CLC will begin on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. You can expect to receive direct communication from your child’s teacher regarding class structure no later than Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

Front Office Phone Hours & Email

The CLC Office will be available by phone from 9am-12pm on school days. Calls will be forwarded to our Office Managers, Kira and Melanie, at home during these hours. This is very new territory for CLC, so please be patient with us as we work out any potential technological quirks. Phone messages will be checked during these hours as well.

Emails will be checked daily on all school days. To help expedite response to your inquiries, email is the preferred method of communication. If you need to speak directly with the Admissions or Business Office, please drop us an email and we will be happy to give you a call back as soon as possible. Please be patient with us on call back requests.
